The Unicus English Olympiad (UEO) is an international competitive exam conducted for Class 8 students. It aims to enhance students' English language skills and foster a love for the language. By participating in Olympiads, students are encouraged to deepen their understanding of English beyond their regular studies and engage with complex concepts that expand their vocabulary, grammar, and overall comprehension. The exam is designed to assess a range of English competencies, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and writing skills. The UEO is conducted online, allowing students to participate from the comfort of their homes. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions covering various Class 8 English curriculum topics. The syllabus of class 8 covers the previous 2 classes passed by the student.
The exam duration is 60 minutes. Students will also get three mock tests (including a free trial) to practice before the final exam. Each mock test can be taken up to three times. The exam is divided into two sections:
Classic Section includes questions related to practical applications of English.
Scholar Section includes questions on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)
