The Unicus Global Mathematics Olympiad (UGMO) is an International Online Competitive Exam for students in classes KG - 10th. Students will be provided with three Mock Tests (inclusive of Free Trial) to practice before the Final Exam. The Mock Tests can be attempted for 3 times. The exam will be a MCQ-type test. The students of classes KG and 1st need to complete the test in 45 minutes, while students of classes 2nd to 10th need to complete it in 60 minutes.
The exams for classes KG and 1st will be parent/teacher assisted.
Note: UGMO is a winter Olympiad exam, and the topics/syllabus of the test will be taken from the same class in which the student is currently studying.
Unicus Global Mathematics Olympiad is based on two main aspects:
1. Content domain: outlines the subject areas targeted for evaluation.
2. Cognitive domain: specifying the cognitive processes intended for assessment.
The cognitive domain includes three domains: knowing, applying and reasoning.
Students from classes KG - 10th have the chance to participate in Unicus Global Mathematics Olympiads. All schools affiliated with Unicus Olympiads receive a prospectus with registration forms. If your school isn't affiliated, you can request the prospectus by emailing info@unicusolympiads.com .
Schools must submit the filled-out and comprehensive registration forms to Unicus Olympiads at least one month before the Final Exam.
If your school doesn't organise Olympiads, you have the option to register as an individual participant. You can find the online registration link for individual participants here.
The examination is conducted online and requires a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection and a webcam. Mobile devices cannot be used for the exam. Since the online exam will be proctored, having access to a webcam is mandatory for the Final Exam. Students will need to take the exam from their homes.

The exam consists of two sections:
1. Classic Section: This section will consist of questions related to practical applications of Mathematics
2. Scholar Section: This section will have questions on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)
