The Unicus Global Mathematics Olympiad (UGMO) is an international competitive exam conducted by Unicus Olympiads that focuses on students’ academic growth and cognitive skills. It is an excellent opportunity for Class 8 students to display their abilities among peers across the world. The exam is designed to test students’ mathematical proficiency and also helps them in encouraging to push their boundaries to excel in the subject of mathematics.
UGMO focuses on problem-solving, logical reasoning and analytical thinking. Students build crucial skills that go beyond their classroom while setting the stage for both academic and personal growth.
The UGMO is conducted online, allowing students to participate from the comfort of their homes. The exam contains multiple-choice questions. UGMO topics/syllabus will be taken from the same class in which the student is currently studying.
The exam duration is 60 minutes. Students will also get three mock tests (including a free trial) to practice before the final exam. Each mock test may be taken up to three times.
The exam is divided into two sections:
Classic Section: This section will consist of questions related to practical applications of Mathematics
Scholar Section: This section will have questions on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)
