The Unicus Science Olympiad (USO) is an international competitive exam held online for students in classes 1st-11th (year 2024-25). Students will be provided with three Mock Tests (inclusive of Free Trial) to practice before the final exam. The Mock Tests can be attempted for 3 times. The exam will be a MCQ-type test. Students in classes 2nd to 11th need to complete the test in 60 minutes, while students of class 1 need to complete it in 45 minutes. Also, the syllabus for classes 3rd to 11th will cover the topics of the previous 2 classes passed by the student, while the syllabus of class 2nd covers the topics of class 1. The syllabus of class 1st covers the topics of EVS taught in the schools in pre-primary classes.
Note: The exams for class 1 will be parent/teacher assisted.
The exam consists of two sections:
Classic Section: This section will consist of questions related to practical applications of Science
Scholar Section: This section will have questions on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)
Students from classes 1st-11th (year 2024-25) are eligible to give Unicus Olympiads. Prospectuses containing the registration forms are sent to all the schools registered with Unicus Olympiads. If your school is not registered with us, then please send an email to info@unicusolympiads.com and we will send you the prospectus. It is mandatory for schools to return the registration forms to Unicus Olympiads, duly filled in and complete in all respects, at least one month before the final exam.
If your school does not conduct Olympiads, then you can register as an individual participant. The link for the online registration for individual participants is here. The exam is conducted online using a laptop or desktop with a good Internet connection and webcam. It can't be taken using a mobile device. As the online mode of the exam will be proctored, access to a webcam will be compulsory for the final exam. The student will have to take the exam from home.
