The Unicus Science Olympiad (USO) is an international competitive exam conducted for Class 7 students. The exam is designed to foster an interest in science and technology among students. The Olympiad aims to assess and enhance students' understanding of core scientific principles across subjects like physics, chemistry, biology and environmental science. It encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and application-based learning, which are important for academic growth and future challenges. Considering class 7 students, the Olympiad covers a broad range of topics aligned with the school curriculum and goes beyond to include real-world applications and interdisciplinary concepts. Students gain exposure to a competitive environment which helps them to develop confidence and a deeper appreciation of scientific disciplines. The exam serves as a platform to identify and nurture students’ scientific minds, making the way for their success in higher studies and academic growth in science and technology.
The USO is conducted online, allowing students to participate from the comfort of their homes. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions covering various Class 7 scientific curriculum topics. The syllabus of class 7 covers the previous 2 classes passed by the student.
The exam duration is 60 minutes. Students will also get three mock tests (including a free trial) to practice before the final exam. Each mock test can be taken up to three times.
The exam is divided into two sections:
Classic Section includes questions related to practical applications of Science.
Scholar Section includes questions on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)
